Colorful and easy heart garland to decorate your heart out this Valentine’s day

Heart garlands and banners are some of the easiest Valentine’s day decorations to make at home. To be honest, I’ve never decorated for Valentine’s day before. But these hearts turned out so cute, that now I certainly will!

Valentine’s day decoration: Easy DIY heart garland

My Valentine’s day heart banner is really easy to make. Even if you are not into crafts like at all, you’ll be able to make it with an ease of a breeze.

This is how you do it: 

First, download my printable heart garland template below.

There are two different heart sizes for you to choose from, big and small. Pick whichever one works best for you.

Then, for the sake of making this Valentine banner even nicer, I added the tan cardstock to the background. As you can see, I used regular office paper to print the hearts out. And then added the cardstock to make them more durable.  I like the extra dimension the cardstock gives to my banner, don’t you?

But you can easily print the hearts on a thick craft paper and that will do the trick as well.

Then use a simple string or a ribbon, punch holes or use cute clips like I did.

And you’re all set!
