Here’s a fun way to practice pre-reading skills for preschoolers – visual discrimination worksheets full of letters, numbers and silly pictures.
Fun worksheets for visual discrimination
There are three worksheets included in this pre-reading printable set.
Children will look for two of the same letters, numbers, and pictures.
Notice that some of the letters and numbers are reflected. This is done on purpose, however. Learning the correct orientation of letters is important for future reading success.
Many children might struggle with this at first. So give them plenty of opportunities to practice with worksheets just like these!
These worksheets would be a great addition to occupational therapy sessions as well.
