This is the very first set of lacing cards I ever made here on Planes&Balloons. So I hope your little ones will enjoy them!
Lacing is a great activity for strengthening those fine motor skills. So feel free to use them with your toddlers or preschoolers this fall.
Children will enjoy the pictures of pumpkin, acorn, fall leaf, and more!

Preschool lacing cards free printable
I recently noticed that my two boys could use some extra practice with their fine motor skills. Hence I decided to make them a bunch of lacing cards to accompany our fall theme this month.
These lacing cards need a bit of preparation, but it’s nothing complicated.
What you’ll need:
- color printer
- laminator (for the best results)
- a pair of scissors
- hole punch
- new shoelaces
How to make the lacing cards:
- Just print out the pages, then laminate them.
- Cut out the pictures.
- Punch holes in the white dots.
- Tie one end of the shoelace in one of the holes. Let the other end hang loosely.
And that’s it!
There are four pictures included in this fall printable for preschoolers. A picture of a pumpkin, acorn, fall-colored leaf, and an apple.
