Free build a Santa printable for kids to make this holiday season!
This is a fun project to use in the classroom or at home with your children – build a Santa printable!
Children will practice their scissor skills as well as thinking skills while they put together the picture of Santa’s face.
I know my kids will be thrilled to do another Christmas activity while they count down the days in December.
And I hope yours will be too!
Build a Santa Printable Template
December is a busy time for most parents and teachers. Let me help you just a little by providing this free printable Santa craft for your kids.
You will find a total of four pages in this PDF.
There are three skin tones to choose from and one page with the hat and beard.
You can help the kids to divide the paper into smaller pieces so they can easily cut out the eyes, nose, mouth, and everything else.
Children can glue the pieces on another, perhaps colored, piece of paper. Or simply connect them together with some glue.
I also have another similar scissor skills activity for the winter theme – build a snowman printable. Make sure to check it out, too!
How to build this Santa cut out template
The Santa pieces have to be placed in logical order so they create a coherent picture.
It helps children build their thinking skills and work on their patience.
Once children cut out all the pieces, it’s a good idea to ask them to build the Santa without glue, first.
But just in case, here’s a little help to make the Santa template work for you:
- The head is at the very bottom, of course.
- Then let the kids paste the eyes in the upper half of the face.
- Next comes the beard.
- And Santa’s hat comes on top of the beard.
- The mustache comes next.
- And then the nose on top of the mustache.
- Lastly, children can paste the laughing mouth.
You will find the download link at the end of this article.
Have fun!
