We are in the full swing of preparation for our twins’ second birthday party. We didn’t do anything big for their first birthday. My husband was deployed at the time and I had no energy left to take care of everything on my own. But this year, he really wants to go all out.
Honestly, if it was only up to me, we would make a small family gathering with a simple lunch and cake. But instead, we are planning a party. My husband has been talking about a bouncy castle so much, that there is no way around it. I am not sure anymore who is the castle really for, lol. Anyway, the party is right around the corner. And (luckily), I was put in charge of the kids’ entertainment.
Our invited guests have children of all ages, from babies to elementary school kids. So I need to cover a lot of areas.
Clearly, I enjoy making printables in my spare time. It is not a surprise then that creating birthday coloring pages got on top of my list.

Teddy bear birthday coloring pages
Our boys adore teddy bears. We can never have enough bear-books in our library. From the Berenstain Bears to Bear’s Birthday, we’ve read them all. I think many of you can relate. There is just something about little kids and teddies, isn’t there?
So the idea of teddy bear birthday coloring pages was born almost immediately.
My goal was to create simple clean designs. In that way, even our 2-year-old toddlers can color for a little bit and not lose interest. Plus, I really just wanted to make them happy. I know they will be super excited to see their own bears with balloons and cakes!
But I hope that even older children will enjoy these.
When I used to be a nanny a long time ago, the girls I took care of would talk about their birthdays weeks in advance. Using birthday coloring pages always helped to feed their enthusiasm and make the waiting more bearable.
