Here is a set of quick and simple cut and paste activity sheets for early learners. With a little help from you, children as young as toddlers can learn to recognize their first shapes.

But mainly, these cut and paste shapes worksheets are a perfect addition to your preschool curriculum. Preschoolers will not only learn about different shapes, but they will also get to exercise their fine motor skills.

Cut and paste shapes worksheets printable

There are two ways you can use these worksheets.

For one-time use, simply print out the black-and-white version and guide your preschoolers to cut and paste the correct shapes.

Or you can play around a bit with the color version. First, cut out the frogs and the shapes, laminate them all, and make fun shapes-matching game.  This will require a bit of prep work, however.

These printables are a great addition to your shapes preschool theme lesson as well as to teaching your kids at home.

And because many preschoolers already know their basic shapes, I just recently added two pages of more advanced shapes such as pentagon or trapezoid.
