Through matching, children learn to observe and recognize similarities and differences between objects in their surrounding.
Then they categorize and organize them into more complex structures, which builds up their critical thinking skills.
All of this is important for navigating their daily environment as well as solving more complicated math problems in the future.
I’ve created five different matching worksheets in this bundle.
Children have to spot two matching objects, draw a line to connect them and then color them.
I always like to keep my worksheets open for coloring so the kids can get more involved with the concept being taught. but of course, this part is optional, depending on how much time you have for the task.
As always. to download my matching practice worksheets, click on the download link at the very end. Then save and/or print all of them or just a few.
