The pumpkin season is in the full swing, so I thought it would be really fun to create some pumpkin worksheets. This time I’ve focused on reading and writing numbers 1-9. And of course, there is drawing and coloring involved too.

Pumpkin worksheets for preschool math

We are planning to visit a pumpkin patch next weekend and my preschoolers can hardly wait. Therefore I created these pumpkin math worksheets for kids to practice basic preschool math concepts.

I focused on one-digit numbers 1-9. The child needs to read the number correctly, trace numbers and then color in the corresponding amount of pumpkin seeds. Children can also finish the page coloring with markers or crayons, of course.

  1. Great ideas I taught 30 year in elementary education. Twenty-two of those were in first grade. I was amazed at how the skills were presented in your text so kids will enjoy and want to learn.

  2. I just am so thankful I found your website!!!! I am homeschooling my 4 yr old grandaughter. Being we are on a budget as well, I wanted to thank you for the great free materials. I do research on weekends and sometimes every other day for the materials I need for her to make sure she’s learning what she’ll need before starting kindergarten. God Bless you for sharing!
