I made this printable set as a special cut and paste activity for my sweet nephew, actually. Just like many other preschoolers, he has been in love with trains for quite some time.

Preschool fine motor skills worksheets

First, the kids will do a color-by-shape activity. There are five basic shapes and colors they need to follow to color the locomotive.

Then they will practice using scissors to cut out the pieces. And at last, they will glue the pieces to match the train in the picture. So besides scissor skills and fine motor skills, children will also practice shape recognition with these free worksheets.
