This free sorting by size worksheet set is perfect for the fall scissor skills and early math skills practice.
Children will enjoy coloring the pictures and then practice their scissor skills by cutting them out. But the size comparison is the main focus of these worksheets.
Just like in the length comparison worksheets, children first learn to compare objects visually before they use any standard measurements. It’s a great skill to acquire before they encounter more advanced math concepts in the future.

You will find a total of four pages in this cut and paste sorting worksheets printable.
The activity includes sorting pumpkins from the biggest to the smallest. And then fall leaves in the reverse order – from the smallest to biggest.
Children can color the pictures first. Then cut them out and use school glue or a glue stick to paste them in the correct order.

The next page includes the pumpkins themselves to color and to cut out. It is a good idea for children to order the pictures by size first, and only then paste them on the paper.
