Before children learn to write on their own, they will practice a ton with tracing the letters first, whether tracing with their fingers or using pencils with worksheets like these.
In this particular set, children will try tracing the letter Y in both- the upper and lowercase alphabet. The letters are either dashed or grey in color to give them different ways to learn.
You can introduce the beginning sounds too by naming all the words that start with the letter “y”. Y is for yo-yo and yogurt! Other words that start with the letter y are yellow, yarn, yak, you, yum, yolk, yacht, and many more.
