Free printable Dolch pre-primer sight words coloring pages.
Just recently, I made these pre-primer sight words coloring and activity pages for teaching first sight words in a hands-on way.
These pages are super simple. They include 4o Dolch sight words for preschoolers, one per page.
But the uses are many, so each word can be taught with a fun creative twist!
And you can easily combine these with my kindergarten sight words pages and pick and choose the high frequency words your child is currently woking on.

If your children are learning to read their first sight words, then adding a hands-on crafty activity will be a hit!
You can use these pages as posters for “sight word of the day” activities.
Children can color them in many, many ways – with crayons, markers, dot markers, watercolors, chalk, highlighters, etc.
If you laminate them, the sight words worksheets can be used as play dough mats, too.

They can also practice writing the sight words by simply tracing them.
Preschoolers can decorate them with stickers, glitter, macaroni, cotton balls, pieces of paper to make a collage, add googly eyes, and so much more!
Just like with my simple number pages, the uses are open to your and your child’s creativity (and supplies at hand)!
You can download the sight words pdf at the end of this article.
Have fun!
