Summer preschool worksheets to practice scissor skills
These scissor skills worksheets will be perfect for children who tend to ask for a lot of help with cutting pictures.
They will practice cutting in an easy fun way. And because the summer is nearly here, I decided to go with the summer theme!
- print the pages
- cut along the full lines to prepare cutting strips
- then let your child do the rest
Children might enjoy tracing the lines first. Have them use crayons or their favorite markers (we are currently obsessed with scented markers!).
The pictures on last page are in b&w, so children can color them however they want. Then they can use their scissors to cut out pictures along the lines.
And remember, you can print these over and over until your children feel confident enough to cut out more difficult shapes.
You will find a download link at the very end of the article.
