Inside: A set of fun fall worksheets kindergarten teachers and homeschooling parents will absolutely love!

Learning about the changing seasons is one of the topics preschoolers and kindergarten students learn about the year round.
As we are approaching the beginning of a new school year, I’ve decided to implement the fall season into some of my free printables. I will be adding them over the next few weeks, so make sure to stay tuned!
Today I bring to you fall worksheets kindergarten teachers, homeschooling parents and most of all children will definitely enjoy.
Not only they’ll help children to practice concepts they are learning about but they can be used as coloring pages as well.

I’ve kept these fall worksheets for pre-k/kindergarten printables black & white for two reasons. One, for easier and affordable printing. But mainly for reason number two.
I remember every single time our pre-school students worked on their assignment. Many of them asked one question over and over again. “Can I color it in?” Because besides “working” on their task, they also desperately need to play while learning.
So let’s give them an opportunity to do so.
You can use these autumn worksheets with preschool or kindergarten children, depending on their skill level.
There is a total of eleven printable activities included.
These are the topics covered in my fall kindergarten worksheets:
- letter recognition
- making patterns
- fall word search
- missing numbers
- fall sight words
- counting to 10
- fall words writing practice
- tracing numbers
I hope they will serve you well. If you find them useful, please help to spread the word by pinning the article so other teachers and parents can easily find them.
Thank you!

I have a five year old returning to school this fall after all of the global shut down we all have experienced. I am interested in continuing her learning outside of the classroom to help her take what she learns at school and bring it home with her. I don’t want it to seem like a chore. I want to make it seem like a fun and interesting thing for her to do as well as start in the routine of having “homework” outside of school. Do you think these printable sheets would be the right way to go or would you offer something else? Open to any and all suggestions any other parents out there may have! Thank you in advanced 🙂
