Cut and paste Valentine’s Day worksheets

My kids are currently obsessed with their training scissors and their very own glue sticks. 

The easiest way to play with those is by using old magazines. Often we simply cut out interesting pictures and glue them on paper. 

This keeps them engaged for long periods of time. 

But for more intentional learning and cutting practice, I designed these cut and paste hearts worksheets. 

Not only they’ll strengthen their cutting skills but children will also exercise their thinking skills and visual discrimination. 

These preschool worksheets will be great for Valentine’s day or any time throughout the year, really. They are full of cute hearts that children will surely enjoy.

What you’ll need: 

• scissors
• glue sticks 
• crayons or markers

First, let your child cut out the hearts at the bottom of the page. 

Then have them take a closer look and match them with their corresponding halves. Then they are ready to use the glue. 

You can also laminate these printables and use hook and loop fasteners for multiple uses.
