Valentine’s day patterns worksheets

Patterns are all around us and children get to learn about them as early as preschool.

Kids who can easily recognize and make their own patterns have a strong foundation for future math success.

Therefore talking about and playing with patterns with your kids is a great way to awaken their interest in math.

These free printable picture pattern worksheets will help your children identify basic patterns including AB, AAB, ABB, AABB, and ABC.

There is a total of three pages included in this free printable set.

Two of them have your kids identify the next picture in the sequence.

The last page allows children to make their own patterns using markers or colored pencils. This is a bit more playful way to learn about patterns.

To download, simply go to the bottom of this post and get your pdf there.

  1. You are incredible. Thank you for sharing these fabulous resources! I am a former Kindergarten teacher now trying to homeschool my own Kindergartner and preschooler amidst all the recent changes to our lives! Your worksheets are educational, engaging, and easy to print. Thank you so, so much for your generosity! I’ve shared your site with my friends and family who have been in the same boat at home these past few months. If I could hug you, I would!
